For those who have lost their voice, Chive Charities provides them a megaphone. For those who have lost independence, Chive Charities restores their freedom. For those who have lost all hope, Chive Charities works tirelessly to build them a better future.
Throughout August and September, Chive Nation will race to help the cause once again with the First Annual Virtual 5K. We call it the ChiveK and it’s going to make it even easier to get involved and make a difference for our underdogs!
Here’s how to do it.
Register: from the ChiveK homepage on CrowdRise, Click REGISTER TO RUN.
Select which Chive Chapter you would like to represent (Chive Nation is the “general” team if you do not wish to affiliate with a specific Chive Chapter) then complete the form and select which level you wish to run at.
$30 Gold Level – Exclusive ChiveK T-shirt from The Chivery
$60 Green Level – ChiveK T-shirt and the Official First Annual ChiveK Runner’s Medal
*NOTE: All registrations must be in by Sept. 5. The following day, we will send out your registration incentives. You will only receive the registration items that correlate to your chosen entry level. Shirts and medals will arrive separately. Please allow 2-3 weeks for shirt delivery and 4-6 weeks for medals.
Fundraise: After you’re registered, it’s time to campaign! Get to work for the underdogs and start sharing your fundraising link on Facebook, Twitter, or anywhere that allows you to connect with friends and family who would like to contribute to the cause.
As you fundraise you can earn some awesome prizes! When you reach your goals, we’ll award you with these amazing prizes.
$250 – Chive Charities T-shirt
$500 – 5,000 Chive points to use on The Chivery ($50 value)
$1,000 – Moosejaw Gift Card ($100 value)
$2,500 – A one-of-a-kind piece of art from The Chivery
$5,000 – We’ll fly you out to Austin, TX, for the weekend and take you on a private tour of theCHIVE headquarters and give you full access to our open bar. ($1,000 value)

Run: Sept. 19 kicks off the ChiveK run week! Link up with your local Chive Chapter to get involved with a group run, OR, run the 5K by yourself on your own time! Post your photos to your social media pages using the hashtag #ChiveK with your ChiveK T-shirt and Medal on to let everyone know you completed your run!
