The taco loving world can rejoice: Taco Bell has officially announced their new hot sauce flavored tortilla chips. Heartbreakingly, we have to wait until summer though. They’ll be releasing Classic (“salty and crispy”), Mild (“chili peppers and cumin”), and Fire (“hints of jalapeño, chili peppers, and paprika”). And, as you may have noticed, they’re packaged exactly like the famous hot sauce packets!
Chief Brand Officer, Marisa Thalberg, said in a press release, “This launch of our first line of sauce packet-inspired chips gives our fans a new way to access a taste of Taco Bell”. Her use of the word “first” implies there could be more! People on Twitter have already begun asking about other beloved flavors like Diablo. For the most part though, people were just stunned with the news of (what is likely to be) our new favorite chips.
