As a happily married man who once went through the tedious and expensive process of getting hitched myself, I can understand the value in trying to make the buck go as far as possible. This does often mean getting offers & competitive pricing from multiple vendors/services as you try to get as much as possible for cheap. This is all normal and par for the course. However, one potential client took the negotiation process way too far, and made it far too personal, for the caterer to simply take the exchange lying down.
