Before we dive into this shitshow, I want to put it out there that my extended family would hire me to babysit my cousins. I was all right at it, but they were pretty close family and they still paid me for the time I put in. If anyone could have gotten away with not paying me, it’s my own family, which is why this story so goddamn absurd.
