Call me a simple midwest child, but I didn’t encounter a single food truck in my life until I lived in Los Angeles for one summer in 2015. I’d heard of them, but I just never saw one in person.
Living in Austin, I’m practically tripping over them. I like a few, but honestly, I just want a simple food truck. If I’m wandering around the city drunk in the dead of night, I don’t want to try and think too hard about what I’m buying.
