Every language has its own expressions that don’t exactly make sense to other cultures. For example, in English we say “shit hit the fan” but if you’d never heard that before, it would be a rather confusing WTF moment. People are sharing strange phrases in other languages with the English equivalent and literal translation, which is a mixed bag of funny and bizarre.
