I’m sure folks out there that know their World War I media already know what They Shall Not Grow Old is, but for those of you that don’t, I have some great news.
It’s a documentary about World War I directed by Peter Jackson (yes, that Peter Jackson), but it goes beyond being a documentary and becomes the technical achievement of the decade. All of the footage in the film is from the 1910s, provided by the Imperial War Museum’s archive, and narrated only by veterans of the war.
