So, at The Chive, we pretty regularly share memes with one another. When I sent Graysen those Tweets above, she burst out laughing, mostly because she sits next to me and knows that I’ve been having some… Issues, with my landlord.
For the past eight weeks, my apartment has not had hot water. It just got fixed two days ago. And while I’m “happy” to be able to take showers in my apartment again (seriously, I’ve been showering here in the office for the past several weeks), our stove has ONE functioning burner at the moment (and it’s the smallest burner).
So not only did this Tweet make me laugh my ass off, the subsequent replies about getting the attention of landlords made me laugh even harder. After all, tragedy plus time equals comedy.
