Instead of having the knowledge of the world at their fingertips, people would head to the library to fill out request cards for answers to life’s most hard-hitting questions.
Recently, the New York Public Library stumbled upon a box containing a few of these old reference questions, with dates ranging from the 1940s to the 1980s, and it’s really a historical mind-trip.
