As Hurricane Milton made its way through Tampa Bay and Florida’s west coast, it brought with it 120mph winds. The storm made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane, and left some extensive damage in its wake.
Tropicana Field, home to the Tampa Bay Rays MLB club, was originally being used as a base-camp for recovery efforts. Sensing that there could be structural damage to the stadium, the base was moved last minute.
