If there’s one thing that Disney has proven time and time again, it’s that nobody wants or needs another live-action version of an already animated hit. Please, for the love of god, let sleeping dogs lie.
I decided to add further proof to this theory by taking iconic animated films and TV shows, and having AI try to emulate what a ‘live-action’ version would look like.
The results were just as you’d imagine. Sure there is something interesting and unique to look at (much like a car crash.) But in the end it’s kind of terrifying and totally avoidable. I’ll let you be the judge.
