It’s time for our meme recap of Week 11, where the NFL’s mysterious scriptwriter must have spilled coffee all over his computer and decided to just wing it.
How else do you explain the Patriots winning again, immediately sparking the Drake Maye is a Tom Brady clone conspiracy theories? Meanwhile, the Dolphins vs Commanders International game was so awful, they should probably just give Europe the word “football” back.
The Chiefs did the unthinkable and lost their grip on a playoff spot, while the Lions made a bold, beautiful, and ultimately fatal commitment to 4th down against the Eagles. And the Bears… well, they won, which is the surest sign the apocalypse is near.
We also had the Jaguars steamrolling the Chargers and the Bills and Bucs turning their matchup into an exhilarating, defense-optional fireworks display. What about the Bengals? They lost, and the only real highlight was Ja’Marr Chase’s “accidental” spit take, perfectly encapsulating the team’s frustrating season. The Cowboys ended the Raiders’ night early, and Shedeur Sanders’ debut was about as graceful as a giraffe on roller skates.
