I’ve been pretty open here about my struggles with the depression. Even though I’ve taken steps to work on myself, there are still mornings that just feel…heavy. Today began with one of those mornings, and as a creative writer it’s not fun having to push through that kind of sadness.
Music helps. So I cranked up some Mac Miller, and started writing. That got me thinking – I wonder how many other fans have certain musicians helped through their music/art.
Anyway I went down a rabbit hole, and compiled a batch of paintings and drawings from artists who were also inspired by the late rapper. I’ve also included some of Mac Miller’s most poignant lyrics for just getting through the day. Enjoy!
