I mean no disrespect in saying that Mike Posner is probably most well known for his 2010s hits, including “Cooler Than Me.” More importantly, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has been very outspoken about his struggles with depression, anxiety, and his mental health. Those feelings shine through in his other hit song, “I Took a Pill in Ibiza.”
Recently, Posner took to Twitter sharing his journey and his growth (11 years later) in relation to the lyrics of the poignant track.
