Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003-2005) and Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008-2020) seem to be the best animated shows based on a film. Below are some attempts at turning a beloved film into an animated television show. Not all were bad. I remember loving the Beetlejuice cartoon. However, most didn’t live up to their big screen lineage.
