This year’s tradition of watching Christmas Vacation with the family will have a bit more meaning than usual. 2024 marks the 35th anniversary of the John Hughes’ holiday classic.
Released on December 1st, 1989, the film performed well at the box office (especially for a Christmas-themed picture.) The movie grossed over $71 million on a budget of $25 million. We all know the success it’s had since.
