Sometimes, when you just want to space out and chill, a movie’ll do the trick. In most cases, my go-to for a relaxing, semi-paying attention genre is horror; don’t ask why, I just find it empowering to laugh in the face of slashing killers and generally, there’s humour ways that victims get dispatched. You don’t really need to think too hard, so it’s like junk food for your mind. Unless you notice something that changes the film on you.
Sometimes, a horror film is more than it portrays itself to be, and there are people out there on the great, wide internet that deep dive into films, and have come up with some crazy theories.
