Some movies are five stars and zero replays.
You finish the credits, stare off into distance, and think, “Yeah… I’m good forever.”
Not because they’re bad, but because they hit too hard: the gut-punch dramas, the anxiety thrillers, the bleak “based on a true story” benders, the endings that twist your brain into origami.
This is the one-and-done canon—masterpiece films you’ll recommend but never rewatch. Movies so good, you’ll never watch them again.
Cue it up, watch once, feel everything, then go hydrate and put on something with Muppets and cute kitties.
