It was announced earlier this year that a sequel to the 1996 Adam Sandler hit comedy, Happy Gilmore was in the works. It’s hard to tell if the film is going to be any good, or if this is just another Sandler cash grab courtesy of his deal with Netflix.
It always seems to be a toss up. We either get God tier Adam Sandler a la Uncut Gems and Funny People, or we get the mediocrity of Hubie Halloween.
With the sequel slated to be released in 2025, it’ll be a long 28 years since the original movie hit theaters. Alas here is the first teaser for Happy Gilmore 2.
