When it comes to offbeat holiday films, this one probably isn’t top of mind. In fact, Christmas has nothing to do with the overall plot; it just takes place during Christmastime in 1990 NY. Still though, it’s darkly sexy and a great reminder that being solo during the holidays might not be the worst strategy.
