Godzilla: King of the Monsters recently opened with $49 million at the domestic box office. This is a start well below the 2014 Godzilla, which opened with $93 million. Overall, reviews are pretty low but audience reaction is high.
Some critics believe the film shortchanges viewers by only providing a few big meetups, but there are frame-worthy shots elsewhere. One such shot, when Godzilla is blasting his breath into the sky, caught the attention of webcomic creator, Ernest Ng.
