Joey Chestnut has responded to the news that he has been banned from this year’s Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. Apparently the reigning champion of the Coney Island Classic was just as shocked as we all were. He took his frustration to Twitter.
With Chestnut banned (at least for the time being) and fellow competitive eater, Takeru Kobayashi having announced his retirement late last month due to health issues – it’s safe to say the hot dog eating world is in shambles.
