Zach: Shoresy loves to antagonize both of you guys, right? Ziig and Michaels, yet both of your characters have these great moments of slight admiration for him and vice versa. Blair, with you in the bar talking about the calendar, and Ryan winning the game stick in season two. So what are those scenes like for your characters that are sort of out of character?

Ryan: For Michaels right off the hop in Season One – that he was the coach – you know, they’ve had that relationship, he had to coach him, he knows how good he is. He knows the potential. He lets him come at him because he knows it’s kind of like all love.

Zach: Right.

Ryan: At the end of the day he’s just trying to win…push buttons to win. So I think it stemmed from there hating me as a coach. But then because I’m so good at goalie, he can’t deny it. He has to at least give me some respect at the hockey level. Other than that, he hates me.

Blair: Shoresy is a funny one, I think. It’s interesting because him and I – Ziig and Shoresy – they’re very much like a brother/sibling relationship where of course you’re chirping and you have fights and banter with people that you’re constantly with. But at the end of the day it’s still all love. There’s still that family aspect and you could chirp somebody two seconds, but then if somebody else chirps that same person, it’s immediately a brawl because that’s not the type of relationship you have with those people.

Ryan: It’s so true. You think of comedians in a green room or something, right. They’re just like ribbing each other too. It’s all love. It’s like a dressing room in a way. Weird comparison, but yeah.
