Apparently Hawaii doesn’t do this tradition anymore, but if the rest of the United States decided to pick up where they left off, what would each state hand visitors immediately after they stepped off the airplane? The question was posed recently on askreddit, and if we were to create a single gift basket based off the most common responses, we’d have a steak, a handgun, and a meth pipe (which isn’t necessarily an inaccurate representation of America). Not every state received an answer, but we compiled our favorites below.
