I feel like the best part about being a dad is probably the constant urge to be ‘the comedian’ of the house. There’s clearly some unwritten rule in the parenting handbook that says, “Yup. Fathers, it is your duty to try and be funny 24/7, even though you’ve never done stand-up comedy in your entire life. In fact, treat this as your life’s mission to make your friends and family super uncomfortable with your jokes.”
That being said, I can’t wait to be a dad.
