I’m one of the lucky ones who never found myself so far out of shape that I was ever afraid at the prospect of going to a gym. I grew up playing sports and was familiar with gyms and how to successfully utilize the facility on my own with confidence. But for countless people, this is not their reality. In fact, some people see the gym as a daunting experience and are both unsure of themselves and insecure around others who frequent the gym regularly. So to be critical of someone stepping out of their comfort zone in the hopes of improving their health is nothing short of sacrilegious. Frankly, I can’t think of a word awful enough to describe that kind of cruelty.
Well according to one heroic stranger, there was such an insecure woman fumbling her way through a workout and being laughed at by 3 onlookers to the point of tears. But rather than witness the atrocity from the sidelines and do nothing, this woman took matters into her own hands to defend the victim…
