As a man who has walked down the aisle myself, I understand all the thought, money, & effort that went into making that wedding as fun & memorable as possible. Even if you could care less about the “big day,” more than likely you and your family invested a great deal of time and recourses to make everything go perfectly. So when a “Best Man” by the name of John decided to use his friend’s wedding ceremony as the perfect platform to make his own big announcement, he hijacked the occasion and left the bride and groom fuming even months later.
The bride recently wrote into Slate’s Dear Prudence column with the infuriating details, and of course the story went viral, leaving the internet seething with white-hot rage.
