San Francisco 49ers kicker Eddy Pineiro missed a 64-yard field goal kick last night that single-handedly ended my fantasy football season. Another 1st-round bye squandered, another year with nothing to show.
You see that picture up there? That’s me in 7th grade. I would go on to snap my collarbone in half during practice and subsequently trade in my football pads for musical theater.
But my love for the game of football remained. It wasn’t until about 10 years ago that I started playing fantasy football, and like most men, it quickly became my life’s mission to win a championship.
