I think one of the most universal experiences that’s talked about the least is discovering something you like, only to meet other fans of that thing and being horrified by the experience. And honestly, a solid half of the things in this post are things that I enjoy but can’t stand other fans of, so I relate to these poor souls on a pretty deep level:
