Earlier this week, Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight posted an electoral map which asserted that if only women voted Hillary Clinton would win in a landslide with 458 electoral votes to Donald Trump‘s 80 electoral votes (shown in image above). Nate then posted an electoral map claiming that, if only men voted, Trump would win with 350 electoral votes to Clinton’s 188 (shown in image below). How correct these claims are aside, it caused a shitstorm of emotions and anger from people everywhere who doubted the validity of the maps. So in response, people took to their Twitter to post their own versions of ‘What the electoral map would look like if…’ scenarios.
