The Topps Company is once again changing the card game. Founded in 1938, Topps dabbled in the gum industry (Bazooka Bubble Gum.) By 1950 they began packaging gum with trading cards.
Topps would hit pay dirt in 1952 when Sy Berger and Woody Gelman designed the first ‘official’ set of baseball cards.
