I’ve never shared this publicly, and even now, I feel a bit hesitant about this. But I’m going to share a story with you guys.
That beautiful looking kid in a Canucks shirt? That’s little Hendy, at my 12th birthday party. The big fella beside him? That’s my dad. We went to a place called ‘The Zone’ for some bowling and pizza with all of my best friends. It was a blast, from what I remember.
It was also the last birthday my dad would be alive for. He would pass away just two months after this photo in a way that no 12-year-old kid should ever experience.
