Those who’ve been viewing theCHIVE for any length of time probably know that the cute girls and comedy are what get the newbies through the door, but the Humanity is what keeps us lifers all coming back as time stretches on. Stories of heroism, and heartache, and tragedy, and triumph, are what we all relate to on a deeply fundamental level. We all suffer and the pain can be overwhelming at times, but it’s through turbulent times we often learn what truly matters to us. Sometimes on the other side of Hell is the only way to find our true happiness.
