History was made last weekend as 33-year-old Kayleigh Williamson became one of the first women with Down syndrome to finish the New York City Marathon!
Kayleigh was joined by her mother, Sandy Williamson, who ran by her side and shared the 10-hour trek. A 26 mile race is no easy feat, but Sandy said that their race was full of dancing, warm hugs, and a lot of high-fives!
