I had like four go-to t-shirts in high school and college, each of which cost no more than $15.
It’s not so much that I didn’t care about fashion, more so that I was poor AF.
And I remember a handful of people in college who always wore Ed Hardy. And every time I saw them, I wanted them arrested.
Every design had flames, skulls, tigers, rhinestones, and enough annoying energy to boil someone’s blood.
You probably knew guys like this, too.
Because for a brief, chaotic window in the late 2000s, Ed Hardy wasn’t just clothing, it was like a personality disorder you could wear.
And then… just as quickly as it spread like a poison, it basically vanished.
