Sense memory is a strong and willful motherf*cker. For me, the catalyst for a lot of memories (sometimes unpleasant ones) is music. Case and point; I remember exactly where I was, and what I was doing the very first time I heard “Adam’s Song” by Blink.
Some days I wish there was a way to go back and experience that feeling all over again. Obviously unless Doc Brown comes through with the DeLorean, I’m shit outta luck.
But a guy can dream. So in my perfect fantasy world, these are the 20 pop punk and emo albums that I’d un-hear and re-listen to for the first time.
