How many times have you been underwhelmed after visiting a “historical landmark” you were told all your life was a once-in-lifetime sight? I’d say about a third to half the time you’re at least a little disappointed at said location, much like my poor wife every time I give the old college try in bed. I’m average. Maybe bottom 30% lay. Bottom 5%, worst case. I digress.
SOooo, if you want to head off some lackluster popular tourist destinations, the UK company MyOffers dug into some of most famous attractions mentioned on TripAdvisor that had overwhelmingly subpar reviews (three stars or less).
Note: The landmarks are rated from poorest reviewed up top and get less poorly reviewed as you scroll down the page. But ALL have below average ratings.
