Some pro baseball players make way too damn much (12 Photos)

Some athletes make too much money. Plain and simple. The highest paid MLB player in 1980 was Nolan Ryan at a modest $1 million. Robin Yount led the league in 1990 at $3.2 million, roughly $6.4 million by today’s standards for inflation. Now the top players are pulling in $35 million a season. What makes this even more absurd is that some players make more in a season than entire teams. No wonder a hot dog and a beer will cost you $30 at a game these days.
