Week 7 of the NFL was less of a football week and more of a fever dream, and honestly, I need a nap.
We had the Bengals upsetting the Steelers, thanks in large part to Joe Flacco throwing every ball to Ja’Marr Chase. The Jaguars flew all the way to London just to give an embarrassing overseas performance, proving that the only thing jet lag affects is your ability to hold onto a football. The Dolphins managed to lose to the Browns in a way that made Cleveland look like a team with a future, which is perhaps the cruelest joke of all. The Chiefs destroyed the Raiders, no surprise there. The Broncos and Giants played the most inexplicably chaotic game of the week. The injury-riddled 49ers won on medical tape and spite. And Baker Mayfield threw his NFL MVP narrative in the trash with a painful loss to the Lions.
