Up until this year I had only been renting apartments. My only interaction was with landlords – and don’t get me wrong – landlords have their own set of issues. But I’m now dealing with an HOA. And boy have I graduated to the big leagues.
These people are terrible. Passive aggressive notices and letters, nit-picky bullshit, salty messages in neighborhood Facebook groups. My home feels like a prison.
