Pictured above is exactly how I feel about working as a server on Valentines’ Day. For a few years the ‘holiday of love’ was one of the most dreaded days of the year. It had nothing to do with being single as fuck (which was also true), but because I was a waitress. It is absolute insanity. There are a million couples coming through restaurants, and let’s just say they aren’t always having the best time. If you work in the restaurant industry, my heart goes out to you on this day.
