You know, being from Michigan is a very odd thing around Halloween, mostly because you will inevitably have a Halloween outside of Michigan, ask everyone about “Devil’s Night,” and be met with looks of total confusion (or, someone asking if you’re also a fan of The Crow).
Needless to say, regions/countries have their own traditions that are hardly universal, and if you live in your hometown for a long time, you might have NO idea that your traditions are obscure, like these folks:
