According to the Google Definition, the ‘black market’ is an illegal traffic or trade in officially controlled or scarce commodities. In other words, things that are being sold because they are either outlawed by some institution or they’re so rare that sellers know they can fetch a pretty penny for the product.
Normally we think of things like spare body parts, narcotics, or even endangered exotic animals. But sometimes the things that are being sold on the black market are far from what you’d expect.
