It’s hard to fathom this community has been around for over 14 years now. In 2009, when the Resig boys decided to name their new blog venture theCHIVE instead of Darby Gunpowder (what a disaster that would have been!), there was no way they knew the good-hearted nature of individuals who would soon frequent their little digital home. While there were regulars who came for the laughs, the Chivettes, and general camaraderie, it was the innate sense of goodwill that has always set this place apart. Over the years, that goodwill has taken on many forms. Look no further than when the Chivers turn and help their own. When the beacon is lit, this community has a knack for showing up and showing up big. Chivers helping Chivers.
